The Los Angeles Philharmonic is lead by the effervescent Mirga Grazinyte-Tyler in this exceptional program. Mirga leads the orchestra through Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto with Patricia Kopatchinskaja stepping forth for her solo, astonishing the audience with her supreme talent.
The program continues with the world premiere of the world-renowned Unsuk Chin's brand new work for orchestra, which was commissioned by the Los Angeles Philarmonic, and it sure to promise more of the composer's orchestral vibrancy! Debussy's Le Mer concludes the concert in an exciting and transcending piece which takes inspiration from the ocean.
