A decade of remarkable artistry and rebellion, The Weimar years were an extraordinary era in German history. Between the two World Wars, the county and Berlin, in particular, saw a rise in creativity and cabaret, making sense of the growing unease around them. The Los Angeles Philharmonic, led by Conductor Laureate Esa-Pekka Salonen, present a program celebrating the period with evening including works from Kurt Weill and Hindemith and selections from the finest cabaret of the time. Record-breaking Tony-winner Audra McDonald lends her incredible talents to what is sure to be a memorable experience!
