The ensemble also welcomes Taiwanese-Australian violin virtuoso Ray Chen to celebrate the Chinese New Year with a spectacular East-meets-West program that includes works by Huanzhi, Saint-Saens, Ravel, An-Lun Huang, and Tieshan Liu, as well as the exciting world premiere of a brand new piece for opera singers and orchestra by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Du Yun.
