One of the true musical giants of the past fifty years, Bob Marley introduced the wider world to the joys of Jamaica's reggae music through tracks like One Love, Buffalo Soldier and No Woman No Cry. His life was cut tragically short in 1981 when he died from cancer.
In celebration of what would have been the legendary singer's 70th birthday a host of stars are gathering at The Bowl for a night of top class reggae. Topping the bill are Marley's two sons Ziggy and Stephen, who have carried on their father's musical legacy into the 21 Century through their solo work and many collaborations. Also playing are legendary Jamaican bands The Skalaties, best known for their track The Guns of Navarone, and Inner Circle, writers of COPS theme tune Bad Boys.
