An icon of new wave, Brit Elvis Costello is out on the road again this year, bringing that distinctive voice, lyrical wit and catchy hooks to a venue near you. First coming to prominence in 1977 with debut album 'My Aim Is True', Costello (real name Declan McManus) has been steadily making music ever since, with classic hits including 'Alison', 'Oliver's Army', 'She', 'Pump it Up' and more.
In addition to his enviable career in music (Costello has worked with everyone from Burt Bacharach to the Foo Fighters,) he's also forged ahead creating movie soundtracks, nabbing acting roles and doing charity work. Joining Elvis Costello on a series of 2025 dates is his long-term collaborator, Steve Nieve. Since the 1970s, Nieve has been Costello's right-hand man and the session musician behind many of Costello's most critically acclaimed works. Nieve now holds a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and boasts a Grammy Award nomination.

Eclectic Mix Great Artistry
Most of Elvis’ music during 1st 3/4 of show were songs I wasn’t familiar with, but I didn’t care. They were really jamming. He was the real deal; being who he is today, not yesterday. That said, rendition of Watching the Detectives was so, so memorable. Many older songs
were deconstructed, with an original vibe. The show traversed various musical styles and genres, and he ended the show with a barrage upbeat old favorites like Pump it Up and Radio, Radio, which had everyone up and dancing. Not for everyone. I loved it! ... Read more

Elvis Costello wiltern
Well the man is a legend and I personally think
one of the greatest songwriters of our
generation. He has an amazing voice especially
after all these years.
There were points where he did get a little
pitchy as one of the other reviewers
mentioned. I think this might be more about
him changing the vocal arrangements to keep
it fresh for him.
I am a huge fan and love his voice and songs.
I wish that he would have played 1 or 2 of the
classics in the original arrangements but I
know he must be tired of playing the old hits.

EC still rocking
Oh come on! Is anyone really going to hate an Elvis Costello concert. He was in fine
voice with plenty of energy. He played a nice mix of new stuff and old classics. Steve
Nieve was still great on the keys. He played for almost 3 hours, including a couple
encores. He finished up with Peace, Love and Understanding. It's pretty hard to beat
that. He had a couple gals singing backup which kept things lively. It was the usual
