From the hallowed team behind the smash hit theatrical farce The Play That Goes Wrong comes a Christmas play in danger of falling apart at any minute - A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong! Hitting Los Angeles for the 2027 festive season, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields (otherwise known as the minds behind Mischief Theatre)'s hilarious stage show is bringing all the mischief to the Ahmason Theater!
In the years since The Play that Goes Wrong landed in London (where it was heralded by Telegraph theatre critic Charles Spencer as the funniest thing he'd seen since Noises Off), the Mischief Theatre empire, has gone on to dominate London with more bonkers productions, including Magic Goes Wrong and The Comedy About A Bank Robbery.
What Is The Story?
The Cornley Amateur Dramatic Society are about to put on their grand staging of Charles Dickens' festive classic, A Christmas Carol. But as show day approaches the group become more and more beset by setbacks, with crossed wires, calamitous set design, arguments about who gets to be the star of the show and awol actors. Will they manage to pull it all together in time for Christmas?
