The Reservoir

The Reservoir at Gil Cates Theater at the Geffen Playhouse

Why see The Reservoir?

Pushy Grandparents

Hilarious yet poignant, The Reservoir is a moving new play by Jake Brasch with a heartfelt core. Directed by Shelley Butler and produced in partnership with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts & Alliance Theatre, its a story to reminds us that even when life falls apart, the people who love us are often the ones who help us put it back together... no matter how infuriating they may be.

What's The Story?

Josh's life is a mess, and no one is more eager to point that out than his grandparents. With unsolicited wisdom and a steady stream of guilt-laced pep talks, sprinkled with the odd surprise invitation to Jazzercise, they're determined to set him straight... whether he likes it or not.
