A night of exquisite talent

Gustavo Dudamel celebrates his recent appointment to the post of Music Director of the Paris Opera (in addition to being the Music Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra) with this fantastic evening featuring the talents of his new colleagues - the Paris Opera Ballet. Playing out scenes from some of the most cherished and stunning ballets, Jean Yves Thibaudet accompanies solo on keyboard, all under Dudamel's world-renowned baton.

Hailing from Venezuela, Gustavo Dudamel was an early student of music, and in 1999 gained his first music director of the Venezuelan national youth opera, before becoming assistant to Sir Simon Rattle in 2003. The rest as they say, is history!
