A host of special guests come together in the iconic setting of the Hollywood Bowl, celebrating the jazz legend that is Sammy Davis Jr, a hundred years since the star was born. The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, led by Thomas Wilkins, are joined by multi-Grammy winning bandleader Christian McBride, Steinway-endorsed pianist Christian Sands, guitarist Rodney Jones (Dizzy Gillespie, Maceo Parker) and Sammy Davis Jr's own drummer Clayton Cameron, as well as celebrity tap dancer Savion Glover, Broadway's Dule Hill and more to be announced, for a night of tribute to the greatest entertainer.
Sammy Davis Jr. was a member of the legendary Rat Pack and an iconic entertainer, with talents spanning singing, dancing, and acting. With an unfathomably decorated career spanning over six decades, he captivated audiences globally with his charisma and versatility, breaking barriers in the entertainment industry and leaving an everlasting legacy.
