LCD Soundsystem and Pulp

Why see LCD Soundsystem and Pulp?

Co-Headline at the Bowl

Two iconic groups from either side of the Atlantic combine for two nights only, co-headlining at the Hollywood Bowl as part of this year's season! New York's electronic rock powerhouse LCD Soundsystem and UK Britpop royalty Pulp head to Los Angeles on September 25th and 26th for what's set to be a monumental pair of shows at the bowl.

LCD Soundsystem

Feted by music critics and fans alike, LCD Soundsystem have had an incalculable impact on modern alternative music. Their sleek brand of dance rock riffs on everyone from Bowie to Gang of Four, while still managing to deliver emotional millennial gut punches. Their song 'All My Friends' was named as the second-best track of the 00s by Pitchfork, and their debut single 'Daft Punk is Playing at My House' was nominated for a Grammy. In 2017, they finally won a gong for the thumping disco confessional 'tonite'.

Pulp

British indie phenomenon Pulp gained notoriety in the mid-90s with the release of the albums His 'n' Hers in 1994 and Different Class in 1995, reaching number-one in the UK Albums Chart. Different Class spawned four top ten singles, including "Common People" and "Sorted for E's & Wizz". Since then, they've become one of the era's most beloved bands and one synonymous with the Britpop movement, with their lithe, velvet suit-clad frontman Jarvis Cocker achieving veritable living legend status!
