Reggae Night XXIV

The heart and soul of Jamaica in LA
Why see Reggae Night XXIV?
A Family Affair!
Last year his brothers headlined, this year it's once again Ziggy Marley's turn to take the stage at the 24th edition of KCRW World Festival's Reggae Night! Joined on the bill by fellow Grammy-winning reggae star Burning Spear, as well as Ziggy's daughter, DJ Zuri Marley, opening the show with a set on the turntables, it's all love in this family affair of the most iconic names in reggae. Don't miss out on tickets!
Like his brothers, Ziggy has made an incredible career for himself that has firmly taken him out of his father's shadow. Ziggy's musical career began way back in the 1970s, when he and his brother Stephen began appearing at their dad's concerts. They later formed a band together - The Melody Makers - who scored their biggest hit with 'Tomorrow People' and won three Grammy Awards. Creating a fusion between reggae and elements of rock, funk, blues, and beyond, across his solo career, he has won a further slew of Grammys with multiple nominations, and became the first ever reggae artist to win the George and Ira Gershwin Award for Lifetime Achievement.
