Carrie: The Musical

You've never seen a musical quite like this...
Why see Carrie: The Musical?
From an Academy Award winning team, Carrie: The Musical was inspired by a night at at a particularly gruesome opera, when screenwriter of the original film Lawrence D Cohen and composer Michael Gore worked out how to bring the troubled high school girl to the stage. Opening in 1988, Carrie had audiences divided with it's outrageous plot and bloody theatrics!
Revived and re-worked for 2012, the made-over Carrie is now more relevant than ever, as we all know what it feels like to be picked on by the mean girls...
high school can be hell
Carrie White is a perennial misfit. Bullied by the popular girls, she lives a lonely life with her fanatically pious mother, who's strict regime alienates her further.
But when Carrie finds herself the centre of attention, for a good reason, she knows it can't last. Inevitably, she must seek terrible vengeance, causing disaster, with the help of her new found telekinetic powers...
