Breezy drama at the diner

Best Play nominee at the 2022 Tony Awards, "Clyde's", runs at the Mark Taper Forum this fall! The wonderful new play from double Pulitzer winning playwright Lynn Nottage follows kitchen staff at a trucker's sandwich shop in a quest to create their dream sandwich, in spite of their tough, disparaging boss.

Clyde's is a jovial play full of great repartee and clever dialogue, following the stories of people looking to the future and leaving their past imperfections behind. Lynn Nottage has previously won Pulitzer Prize for Drama for Ruined in 2009 and Sweat in 2017, remaining the only woman to have won the award twice.
