Why see Catch Me If You Can?
The Con Is On
White-collar crime meets musical theatre in Terrence McNally, Scott Wittman, and March Shaiman's four-time Tony-nominated Broadway smash Catch Me If You Can. A true-story-turned-film-turned-musical production that features swinging sixties song and dance numbers and a truly thrilling storyline, don't miss this exciting production from Colony Theatre, landing this fall!
What Is The Story?
It's the extraordinary tale of con artist Frank Abagnale Jr., who waltzed his way through the 1960s posing as everything from an airline pilot to a lawyer, using little more than a few forged documents and his boundless amounts of charm. His impersonations didn't go undetected forever though, and soon tenacious FBI agent Carl Hanratty was on his tail.
The musical is based on the 2002 Oscar-nominated movie of the same name, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. The musical adaptation premiered in Seattle, before debuting on Broadway in 2011 to impressive reviews and four Tony nominations.
