Directed by multi-award winning theater director and filmmaker Elia K. Schneider and based on the best-selling novel "La Brute" by Guy des Cars, The Solitaire is a story of mystery that explores humanity in a unique, fascinating and mesmerizing way.

While on a voyage with his beautiful wife Solange on board of the The Montparnasse - a french cruise ship -, Jacques Vauthier, in spite of the fact that he is blind, deaf, and dumb, is accused of murdering an american passenger on board and for an unknown reason pleads guilty. This accusation leads to an intense trial were famous prosecutor Voirin and underdog defense attorney Deliot face the battle of their lifetimes to unravel the truth.

During the trial, witnesses unfold the true story of Jacques Vauthier's life, a story where the unexpected and unimaginable collide due to the purest manifestation of human emotion: Love.
