HORRIBLE SOUND BOARD WORK.

My wife is a great fan of Elvis and she was looking forward to hearing him. We had excellent seats. The volume was so high and distorted you could not hear the vocals of Elvis or the backup singers. We listened to maybe 5 songs and had enough and walked out. We were not lonely because many others were walking out.

BLONDIE WAS BETTER THAN EXPECTED, ELVIS WAS WAY TOO LOUD AND MIX SO BAD IT WAS HORRIBLE

Both Elvis and Debbie Harry have aged and a few bumps in the road are expected, but what the hell was the arena thinking with Elvis's setup...did they not do a soundcheck? At least 15% of the arena left after a few songs because not only did they unnecessarily double the volume for Elvis Costello, but the mix was so bad you could not articulate ANYTHING Everyone should get their money back

ELVIS! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!

Sound was way too loud and distorted. He seemed to rush through the set list and you could barely make out any words. Even his most recognized songs sounded awful. “Alison” a true classic was mixed with Smokey Robinson’s Tracks of My Tears. Huh? Why not play the original toned way down. Such a shame. Don’t waste your money. I have seen other groups such as Springsteen play without the sound issue. Why wasn’t that checked? People didn’t even stay for his encore. Guess their eardrums couldn’t take it any longer!

DISAPPOINTING

Agree with other reviews. I love them both, especially Elvis, but beyond their peak. Blondie played for too long. Set would be better with 5 strong songs. The feedback and distortion during Elvis’ performance was awful. I also was not a fan of the new arrangements, the over-powering ‘back up singers’ and the emphasis on fast, hard rocking songs. Missed the beautiful lyrics and soulful vocals I love.

WORST SOUND EVER

Blondie was Fantastic and put on a great show with a very good sound mix. Unfortunately the sound mix for Elvis Costello was so bad I had to put my earplugs in immediately. The bass was SOO loud and distorted it rattled through my whole body and wrecked the sound mix for Elvis. I'm giving 4 Stars to Blondie for a great set that was cut short due to a weather delay that cut out some of their hits.

BLONDIE/COSTELLO SHOW

Travelled up from NYC to catch this show, and it was a major disappointment due to the horrible, amateurish sound mix. We had "great seats" (right behind the sound & light boards), but we were assaulted by a thudding, sludgy, cavernous mix that made it sound like the kick drum was the lead instrument. These are not hip-hop bands , and they shouldn't have been mixed that way, either. The distressing part is that no one tried to correct the sound at all during the course of the evening, and, yes - many were leaving during the course of the show. It was my first time at this theatre, and DEFINITELY my last. Drove home feeling like I just threw away a lot of time & a bit of money. In a just world, everyone deserved a refund.

BLONDIE AND ELVIS COSTELLO

blondie was very good! Vocals and band were well done. Very good sound mix!! Great selection of songs!! Elvis played great songs but unfortunately the sound mix was way off! Vocals were drowned out because it was too loud!! Couldn't understand any words...What a shame!!!...noticeably , people were holding their fingers in their ears...What does that mean?? His backup singers couldn't be heard with clarity of any of their words....
