Based on Tim Burton's Gothic Fairytale

Edward Scissorhands is the latest show from the folks that brought you the musical adaptations of Scream and Cruel Intentions.

Based on the classic Tim Burton movie, which starred Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder, it's the story of a picture perfect suburban neighborhood turned on its head by the appearance of the titular character, who possesses an assortment of blades instead of hands. Edward's lovable quirkiness (and his skill at hedge-trimming) soon endear him to the community, but it's not long before his presence becomes the lightning rod for all the petty neighborly jealousies that have been bubbling just under the surface.
