blood orange heads out on 'negro swan' tour

It seems the winds have shifted for British singer-songwriter and producer Dev Hynes. Never one to favour touring, preferring the writing and producing process, Hynes is heading back out on the road in 2019 as he presents his brand new, and fourth, album 'Negro Swan'.

Fusing pop, funk and jazz with searing lyrical content and spoken word poetry clips focused on the social and generational forces shaping black culture, politics and his own personal experiences, Hynes' soulful outpouring veers from avant-garde to unabashed, expertly crafted pop that never lacks emotional depth. Cutting an enigmatic figure on stage, he never loses his cool and calm demeanour, favoring subtlety over loud gimmicks.
