Formed in 1995 Godsmack rose to metal fame when their third album "Faceless" landed into the number one spot in the US album charts back in 2003! Since then the group have enjoyed two more number one albums, Iv (2006) and The Oracle (2010) with a further three hitting the top 10! Epic... But short!!!
Godsmack is one of my favorite bands. Easily in the top three for me. It's been over 20 years since I've seen them, so to say I've been looking forward to this evening is a true understatement. Everything from their performance, to the sound, the overall show was just epic. It could have been the perfect night. The perfect concert. One little negative though kept it from achieving that. 90 minutes. Usually concerts go a minimum of 2 hours, and that's what I was expecting. So when they did their encore, and only one, I was left standing there after they took their bows, and the lights came on. I was wondering why there wasn't more. Missing were many of the classic songs that I expected to hear. I know they can't cover them all, but I only heard two songs I believe off their new album. During the show Sully said there would be more of the old stuff to follow, but there really wasn't. There were a lot of great cover tunes which I appreciated tremendously and the performances were awesome. Again, it was a Saturday night at a 24/7 Casino, I guess I just expected the show to go on at least past 11:00 p.m. when it ended at 10:30 p.m. after starting at 9:00 p.m. and with how much the tickets were, I was left wanting more. Great concert amazing
I've seen Godsmack and Stained before...a few times .. tonight in Noblesville Indiana they were amazing...it was great see Stained back together again . Aaron lewis is amazing.... Godsmack just came out and killed it ..there Amazing to see in person .they brought so much energy ...and in turn the crowd gave it back ..drums solo was incredible...Scars is one of the best songs ever written...Will go see them both Everytime they come to Indy ...
