Why see Los Angeles Philharmonic - Romeo and Juliet?
Millepied & Dudamel
The Los Angeles Philharmonic welcomes the innovative LA Dance Project to the Walt Disney Hall for a very special collaboration. The troupe will be performing new dances set to Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet balcony scene, perhaps one of the most evocative classical pieces ever written.
Founded by former NYCB dancer Benjamin Millepied in 2012, the LA Dance Project is constantly searching to break new ground in the form. Well known for their collaborations with artists, choreographers and orchestras around the world, they take particular pride in fostering creativity in their hometown. The Los Angeles Philharmonic will be conducted by Gustavo Dudamel.
